When we think of what it takes to be creative, we often picture someone else. We imagine a painter in a sunlit studio, a novelist lost in thought at a café, a musician surrounded by half-filled notebooks of lyrics. We construct a narrative of other people being creative, perhaps saying to ourselves, "I’m just not the creative type."
But what if that story we tell ourselves isn’t true? What if creativity isn’t something you're born with, but something you can imagine yourself into?
